Meet the coaches for the upcoming 2023-2024 season!

Hi! I'm Christa Lang, co-owner and coach at STORM. I have been coaching and choreographing cheer and dance for over 30 years. I am USASF credentialed through level 6 in tumbling and stunting. I have an extensive background in dance as a former studio dancer and instructor, as well as dance team experience as a member and coach. I have training in hip hop, tap, jazz. lyrical, modern and acro. I was inducted into the Wisconsin Association of Cheer and Pom Coaches Hall of Fame in 2017. I have been married to my husband Ben for 28 years and we have 2 cats Phoebe and Lucy. I have stayed with this sport for so long because for me, it's ALL ABOUT THE KIDS!

Hi, my name is Linnea and I am the co-owner of Storm Elite All Stars. I have been involved in the cheer industry for about 21 years as a cheer parent of my three children and as the owner of Sweet Kiss Bow Company for 13 years. I love everything about this sport. When blessed with the opportunity to buy into the gym with Christa, I said yes! It has been a whirlwind the last three years and I have enjoyed every minute! My role in the gym is as a support to Christa, our coaches, parents, and athletes. you will find me in the gym everyday between the office, the pro shop pressing items, assisting the coaches, and my favorite part- seeing how the athletes day is going. I always have a hug and kind words of encouragement for them. I feel very passionately that not only is it our job to grow the kids as strong athletes, but also to assist their parents in them becoming strong, kind, confident humans as well! Cheers to another successful cheer season!

My name is Sarah Gerdes and this season will be my 11th season coaching at Storm Elite. I have been involved in cheerleading since 2005 and continue to love every minute of it. I am currently USASF credentialed through level 6 in tumbling and stunting. I have been married to my husband Codi for 7 years and we have two kids, Camdyn and Brynlee. One of the best things about being a coach is getting to see these kids grow in their skills and love for the sport. Their passion keeps me excited for every practice.

Hi! My name is Ellie Loeffler and this is my third year coaching at Storm. I am currently attending school as well as cheering at UWSP, and I am going for my masters of Athletic Training. I started cheer when I was a little kid and have been coaching for the last six years. I come from a very strong tumbling background and coach through level 6. I love being able to see my athletes grow and be confident on and off the mat.

Hi my name is Tanner Zinda! This is my first year coaching at Storm as a youth team coach. My previous experience was on Royalty Athletics as a high school athlete and I also coached for a short period of time at NXA. My passion and love for all star cheer started sophomore year of high school when I began my athletic career at Royalty Athletics. I cheered there for 3 years. I started on a level 2 team with no knowledge about all star cheer as well as no tumbling or stunting experience. Through motivation put into my training and competing, I was able to learn new talents and confidence in both cheer and life. I now have level four tumbling and stunting skills and knowledge. My goal as a coach and mentor is to teach young athletes new skills, build their confidence, set high goals in life, and to be able to create goals for themselves that CAN be achieved. With hard work and dedication, my teams can go anywhere.
